This weekend, when you
are visiting family and friends, going to concerts or enjoying an outdoor
barbecue, take a few moments to stop and remember what this holiday weekend is
all about.
It's Memorial Day . . .
and that means that we remember those who served in the armed forces and fought
for our freedoms.
Although there are many
problems to be resolved in this country, it is still the greatest country in
the world. A country where we can freely express our differences of
opinion and that is a lot to be grateful for!
So this weekend, I urge
everyone to thank our soldiers and veterans and be thankful for
the freedoms that we all enjoy.
